About GCS
Gloucester Choral Society is a high quality, established amateur choir with a rich history, based at Gloucester Cathedral. We are dedicated to presenting an interesting, varied and challenging programme of concerts each season (see our current season and previous concerts) and pride ourselves on the high quality of the performances from both the choir and the professional musicians.
As a member of Gloucester Choral Society you will take part in concerts which are always presented in the glorious Gloucester Cathedral, one of the great concert halls in the world.
Our rehearsals take place in the Cathedral’s historic Chapter House. In the week of the concert, we usually rehearse in the Cathedral itself.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Dates are circulated to members.
