About Gloucester Choral Society

The Aims of the Society

- to perform with top-quality soloists and orchestral players

- to enjoy rehearsing and performing wonderful Choral music

- to strive for continual improvement in the standard of our performance

- to promote Choral music to as wide an audience as possible

- to present attractive programmes of Choral music, both traditional and modern;

- to expand the lexicon of Choral music by performing and commissioning new works.

 

We are fortunate to have the Dean of Gloucester as our President and to be able to present all our concerts in the glorious Gloucester Cathedral between September and July each year.
