How to Order Tickets

There are three simple ways to order your tickets for any GCS event:

Patrons & Friends

Season Tickets

For regular supporters of our concerts, but who are not Patrons or Friends, the Season Ticket Scheme offers a discount of 10% on our normal Front Nave ticket price when you book for all the season’s concerts in advance. NB: Season Tickets can only be purchased by telephone or in person.

Please note the maximum discount is 10%.

Priority Booking Period

For the whole of July 2011, Season Ticket holders, Patrons and Friends will be able to buy tickets before they go on general sale from 1st August 2011.

Why have we changed our Ticket Ordering?

In the past, GCS volunteers have run the Box Office and the three consistent comments we have received over recent years are that you wish to:

  1. Choose the exact seats you want for a concert whether you book online, by telephone or in person.
  2. Pay by card, again whether booking online, over the telephone or in person.
  3. Speak to the Box Office rather than leave messages on answerphones.

It has become increasingly difficult for our volunteers to provide an appropriate service which meets these requirements and, as a result of this feedback, we have arranged with the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham to manage our Box Office. The advantages to you are:

  • We can give you seat choice and card payments
  • The Box Office will be available for personal visit or by telephone on a dedicated number (01242 691190) from 9:30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday (and to 8pm on days when the theatre has a performance)
  • July 2011will be a priority booking period for Patrons, Friends and Season Ticket holders
  • For online bookings, we have removed the £2.50 administration fee so you only pay the ticket price

Ticket Price Error

The programme booklet that you may have received contains an unfortunate error. On the booking form, the ticket prices for the concert on 2 June 2012 have been mistakenly duplicated from the March concert. The correct prices, which are shown on the page advertising that concert, are:

  • Front Nave: £20
  • Middle Nave: £15
  • Rear Nave: £10
  • Side Aisle: £6

The booking form linked to at the top of the page contains the correct price information. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
