Peter Wilman
Peter Wilman studied singing at Trinity College of Music, after completing his master’s degree in piano performance at Canterbury Christ Church University.
Operatic roles include Tamino in the Magic Flute and Guillot in Manon for English Touring Opera, Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte and Remendado in Carmen for Swansea City Opera. Also Bardolf in Falstaff for Opera Project, Male Chorus in Rape of Lucretia, Britten and The Rector in Peter Grimes at Canterbury Festival.
Peter has a a wide range of oratorio and concert repertoire having performed Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonelle at St. Albans Cathedral, Messiah, Elijah and The Creation in Canterbury, Buxton, Leicester and Cardiff. Also Mozart’s Requiem, Mass in C Minor at St. David’s Cathedral and Mass in Bb for BBC Radio. More recently Handel;s Samon at Gloucester, Ramirez’s Missa Creolla in Tewkesbury Abbey and Janacek Otcenas with Thomas Trotter.
Peter is currently performing the role of Tamino in The Magic Flute at English Touring Opera.
