The MINIMUM subscription for the 2026-27 season (September to June) is £225. You are welcome to pay more than this if you wish to support the society to a greater degree. 

 

Membership for those under 25 is free, and concessions are available for cases of difficulty (please talk to the Chair, Eleanor Kercher (alto), in confidence about this if you want to know more).

Payment can be made in full or in up to eight instalments. If you are paying in full, it will be appreciated if you can use BACS transfer or standing order. Cash or cheque can also be accepted.

To pay in instalments, please complete a standing order online with your bank. The subscription must be paid in full by April 2027 and suggested instalments this season are 2 at £112.50, 4 at £56.25, 5 at £45, or 8 at £28.13. If paying by instalments, please remember to put an end date in your instruction!

When setting up online to pay in full or by instalments, please make sure your payment is referenced ‘GCS subscription’ so it can be easily identified. Whichever method is used, please ensure that either the full payment or the first instalment is made during September.

As a charity, we are able to reclaim gift aid tax on subscriptions and this has been a valuable source of income for GCS. The majority of members have completed gift aid declarations in the past, but as the society became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation last summer, we now have a new charity registration number and so new gift aid declarations, with this new number, need to be completed.
